I think part of my issue might have been that I had the mochi ice cream at a convention and it was a boxed kind. I'll give it a go sometime when I'm at a place that's meant to have "good" stuff. xD Might give the red bean paste another go too. (Though... probably not. I've had it at least twice.)

I expect people recommend Reece's because they're the only major brand of peanut butter cups. I really do like their cereal, though. That might be worth trying if it's not ruinously expensive wherever you find it. (I would not recommend you special order it, though. xD; I wouldn't want to be responsible for any disappointment for going out of your way.)
