After some hours of thinking, Gemini was no closer to a solution than she had been before. The only thing she could think of was to be nice to the human, and that wouldn't do much besides make him think she was tricking him. Still, it's an option... She thought. It was at least worth a try. Sighing, she realized that the air had cooled, signaling that night had fallen. She stood up, deciding that she might as well start right then. She recalled that humans needed to eat regularly, and figured the boy was probably hungry. She herself still needed to eat, just not as often, so she kept food around.
Going to one of the tapestries, she lifted it to reveal a stone door. She opened that, letting out a blast of cold. She had created this storage space a while ago, enchanting it to stay cold so that food wouldn't spoil. She went inside to retrieve some meat and spices, along with a cauldron. She brought them out, magically started a cooking fire and started to get to work on making them a stew. While she worked, she conjured bowls for them. After a while, she coaxed the fire down to a simmer, just enough to keep the stew warm, filled a bowl, and brought it to the human. "I have made stew, if you wish to have some. There is plenty, so have as much as you like." She said, putting the bowl down at the entrance to his alcove.
