Jill pulled her hand back quickly as the gate swung open. "Yes, yes it did..." Jill said disbelieving. "Probably just the wind..." she added, more to reassure herself than anything. "Such a hero..." Jill said, rolling her eyes. She moved through the gate, her hand clamped tightly down on Jack's as she dragged him along behind her. She looked around as they made their way up the home stretch and was a bit surprised to find no cars or other signs of habitation in the area surrounding the inn.
