Morning came far too soon. While Adlemar hadn't screamed this night, Mannik had jerked awake multiple times. He had such horrible dreams. People with foaming mouths and wild eyes that he'd had to kill in the past, had tried to climb the building to get to Adelmar. Mannik had been completely healed, but she had caused the wound in his side. She'd ended up dying, staring at him with glassy eyes. Plus, he had been awfully cold, even debated curling up with the female.

Still rather upset over the dream, Mannik glanced to the female, and ran a hand through his hair. He rubbed his eyes next, and slipped to the window, peeking out. He had a pretty good view of various homes from here, and the large open area next to the Commander's apartment complex. People were starting to get up and move around, small clusters coming together. Some still looked rather angry. As much as Mannik needed to, it was quite possible that hunting would be out of the question today.

Moving back away from the window, he grabbed the water, peeking inside, and setting it down. He was rather thirsty, but Adelmar needed the short supply of liquid far more than him. The tiny container was set back down by the meager roots. Mannik felt a rather strange pang as he viewed their supplies. He doubted Adelmar's fiance would have any trouble keeping her fed.

The thought was banished rather quickly. What did it matter? It wasn't any of his business. Mannik sat down and sighed, removing his jacket, and checking the stab wound that throbbed painfully. It seemed fine, so the male settled for peering at the girl from Above as she slept, curious. He didn't get to view her much, since it felt wrong. But, she was asleep, so it would be alright, right?
