Leon rush forward and lifted Seneca in his arms. He carried her over to where Lea was and lifted her into the back of the medical wagon. Leon sat down holding Seneca in his arms as the wagon started to move.
Lea turned to Leon and Seneca. “Leliena, made it sound like the king might have been killed.” She frowned for a moment and shook her head. “We will have to go and see for ourselves.”

The vampire girl smiled as Aries opened his eyes. “Leliena sent an assassin to kill you.” She touched the scar on his throat. “If I hadn't smelled your blood, you would already be dead, but you must live.” She kissed his cheek softly. “Good king Aries, I am sorry, but you will live on as a vampire.” She opened his mouth slowly seeing that his fangs where forming under his gums. “Your fangs should drop in a day or two.” She cut her wrist and pressed it against his lips. “I know it won’t be easy, but you must drink.”
