After being left alone, Tai sighed for a moment and just breathed in the silence. A loneliness settled in for a second before he pushed it away with a thought. Smiling once again, he turned to the pantry and the meal he planned to make for Sophie. Even if he was alone now, he had something to look forward to and he knew the lonesomeness wouldn't last. He spent his evening making an alfredo chicken with asparagus and mushrooms, accented with a side of pasta and fresh broccoli. It looked lovely to him, so he hoped Sophie would also appreciate it.

"Oh," Pedro started as he sat down too, looking up at the other cat on the dumpster. "Okay." Was he perhaps being pushed away? Pedro didn't want to think that, but the thought made him a little sat. He pushed it away again, unable to linger on the past because why should he? "Do you not like house cats? But I really do want to play with you. Can we play as humans?" he asked again. Already he felt the itch to take his other form, almost the same as when he needed to stretch the kinks in his back. He thought it felt like that.
