He yelped, sounding a bit more desperate than angry. All this time, he'd been keeping his eyes turned away, but after he finished speaking, he glanced for a second at Declan. Koda's face said it clearly. Declan was right. No one really listened to him and his mom didn't know what to do with his attitude.
