Okay guys, an announcement!
I'm really, really, really sorry, that I didn't get the art contest up in time. I unexpectedly hit an emotional wall earlier this week, and I've had a harder time than I care to admit picking myself back up. Dusted off as I am now, there's just no time given the event is closing in half an hour... As well, I just didn't give myself enough post room.
Sure, I could have the thread moved to art contests still, and edit all my other posts to contest details, but what's the fun in that? I wanted this thread to be a nice hangout for people to read back on in memorable threads. Something quick, simple, a week long, for us all to enjoy, and get some cheer art in time for my birthday. I wanted a brief art contest so I could get a feel for running the really big one I've always wanted to since way back in my first days of Gaia.
That didn't turn out, and it's no one's fault but my own; that's okay. So I propose that rather than have the staff move this, I'll let them lock it.
What if I DO plan out that big art contest? I wanted something small, given so many freebie artists come out during the events, and I was hoping to garner their attention. As you can see, again, that didn't happen. So while it'll mean a lot less traffic, and a lot more stressful advertisement to be noticed on my part, I would like to hold a contest from my 21st birthday (February 28th), to my love's 21st birthday, which is also our anniversary, June 11th. Would anyone enter?
I have converted my failed art contest posts into a pathetic mooch for last minute freebies, but I do not expect takers. xD;
As for freebies I owe, please contact me and tell me what you'd like before the 27th. >w<;
And because I only had one shop order, I will NOT be opening a shop to finish up after the event, but will rather just PM the piece, if that's alright with disturbed66. :3 I don't think anyone else wanted to order anyway. xD; I'm so behind as is. But you know, feel free to get last minute orders in anyway?! D:
