Not really sure what to say to Mindy's explanation of her past, Lucy simply nodded, still swinging her skinny little legs. Her actions as she cooked were methodical and cautious, showing that she was really intent on her work, which was the primary cause of her silence according to Lucy. Still, when she spoke up asking if Lucy would like to go on patrol with her, Lucy paused before nodding enthusiastically. "That sounds great!" she exclaimed, happy to be of assistance. She was so eager, in fact, that she jumped off of the stone column that she had been sitting on and darted to the door, fidgeting outside as she waited for Mindy to catch up to her outside.
