Tomoe wagged his tail while he was being washed, he enjoyed it, it was like the filth of the past was being washed off and he was being cleaned with the present and whatever lied ahead. He was used to being bathed in such cold temperatures, he just had to learn to get used to it, that's the only reason he was able to stay in the water.

After his bath, when the guy held him, he turned into a wolf puppy to use his fur to stay warm. His whole body was trembling from the cold. Only when they got to the fire did he felt a little better. "What should I call you?" Tomoe asked. He just realized he didn't even know what the guy liked being called, he didn't know what a name was though.
