Well I was thinking maybe they are sharing the same waiting room waiting for their names to be called for their operations to begin. After the operations, they can share the same room where they are recovering. During that time the two of them can possibly talk and become friends after a while of course. Before they meet at the hospital, maybe we can have one character already there when the other one is brought in?
I'm sorry if none of this make sense, I'm naming things off the top of my head while cleaning around the house. OTL
