Clark could only raise an eyebrow as she took his hand. Maybe she still didn't get it, but no matter. This whole ordeal will probably be a life lesson for her, depending if she'll live to see the next day. He led her through the hallways, where there were still women milling about, not sure what to do now that the rest of the guards are gone. He shook his head. "Ladies," he gestured to the steps, "you can either come on a pirate ship, where your ends will be unknown or you can jump overboard." A few of them looked at each other and started muttering to themselves how Clark was kind enough to give them a choice rather than the men they've met. With a nod, he left them, princess still in hand.

His men were finishing up on the treasure haul, now it was the supplies. The rest of his crew were pretty jolly still, despite the wounds and cuts they had and Clark nodded to a few of them as he led the princess through the carnage on deck.

"Here's a plank," he pointed out, a big piece of wood serving as a bridge between the royal ship and his. "Uhh, never mind those," Clark nodded towards the dead bodies on the ship. "I'm sure they've served a full life," he joked, biting the inside of his mouth. He never meant to be insensitive towards the dead, but now those words were out there.

"I hope you're not afraid of heights. Or open water, for that matter."

Ariel bit back a smile as Gerard cursed her for the poured ale. She shook her head at herself, why was she inherently happy at all this? People are now dead, and now the future seemed distant and unknown. She thought she would only spend the rest of her life waiting on Rose's every order, maybe take care of her child when the wedding was done and all. Maybe she realized that she didn't want to do this for the rest of her life. Biting the inside of her lip, she put all her focus into treating his wound, hopefully thinking that this would gain favor with the captain.

Maybe she wouldn't mind a life on the sea. Provided she was safe. Safe. Ariel wondered if Rose was safe. Given the captain's attitude toward her, he would probably use her for ransom and then dump her wherever. With that mindset, he wouldn't dare do anything to her. She smirked. 'I guess her title does her good now,' Ariel thought as she started to thread some string through a needle. The wound was cleaned up, for the most part. All she had to do was sew it back together and bandage it to prevent it from bleeding again. This was simple enough, at least she wouldn't have to deal with broken bones or such.

At Gerard's comment, Ariel raised an eyebrow. "Oh yes, so handsome," she replied with a biting tone. She pierced his skin by the time she ended her comment and began to sew through his skin.
