"The place I come from is called.. Uhmm.. Well.." She hesitated briefly at the question he presented, now she thought about it, he hadn't exactly asked exactly where it was, he was likely looking for a name, something that he may have heard of, it was a little difficult to lie when he stared at her but she knew he wouldn't understand the where, "It is called Kiranes," She finally admitted. There was no harm in letting him know the name of her home-world, so long as he believed it was some unheard of place on his own world, that would be fine.

She lifted the glass to her lips and drank a little. Fresh water was oddly different to the synthetics she remembered, it just seemed different, the slightest taste perhaps, her focus was drawn by the food and she sniffed at it softly. She found herself smiling widely, it had been a long time since she'd smelled anything that resembled good cooking, but she was once again momentarily cautious, scanning the food to make sure there were no properties harmful to her own biology.

Once she was certain it was safe, she watched Kiernan briefly, listening to him as he spoke, but she was also interested in what his hands were doing, so she understood the use of their utensils. There were similar ones back home, but she wanted to be certain of their use, so she didn't look like a fool. though when he spoke of the kingdoms, the poor and the royalty she could see the gradual, if slight, change on his face again, though in return she threw her face into a pout, turning it away from him a little as though acting like a child,
"A Kiranessan can stand by what they say. Were you bad; you would not help. Were you evil; you would have been among those men, or you could have tried to do worse. Why let some flee? You could have killed each one, more a monster than a person. Who or what you may have been before, I have no care," She turned her head to him and grinned broadly, "You are the good man, Kiernan, right now." She stated firmly, cutting into her food finally and taking a few bites, a softened sound of delight came from her throat along with a sight of contentment and she put a hand to her cheek, her fork balanced finely between her fingers,
"So long since I have eaten a good meal, warm and good flavor..!"
