Xavier sat on a branch up in a tree in the woods not to far from his village. It was so early in the day that the sun hadn't even set. "Great.. I'm up before the sun." He murmured under his breath as he stared up in the sky. Xavier sighed and leaned back against the tree trunk to support his weight. He had another dream about the maiden, only this one was more like a nightmare. He'd be nineteen soon- he had to find out the truth. His father wasn't going to.. Maybe it was time he left the village to seek answers elsewhere.. Lost deep in his thoughts, the boy eventually drifted off to sleep up in the tall tree. Trusting the spirits of the forest not to see him as a threat and trusting the tree to hold him up. Even if he couldn't see them, he believed in the spirits and many more.
