Raisel spent most of the class with his head down. That way, he could pretend people like Max and Josh weren't there. Josh did try to talk to him at one point and even pass a note, but he pretended to be asleep. Not today though. He was wide away and staring despondently at the white board with his head pillowed on his arms. It took forever for class to end and he hadn't yet unfolded himself from his dead-like position when Max walked up to his desk.

Pointing a sulky glare at the other boy, Raisel just regarded him for a second. "What? I'm not going anywhere," he griped before dropping his forehead back onto the desk. Class was out early. He could afford to hide in the room for just a little longer if certain peoples would just leave him alone.
