Staring down at the water garden, now in disgust, as Zahur ran to his queen, Horus began to fume. He scowled down over them as the cat transformed into his human self. Only a short moment later, the warrior woman Talim had approached the queen and cat boy, causing Horus another angry growl. War was no place for women, it was belittling to all men who fought at her side. Horus hated Zahur and Talim with great passion. But then, who didn't he hate?

His eyes were dark as he watched them exit the garden. He could no longer wait to rule these people and rid Cairo of the wretched felines, Talim, and any who opposed him. The time was now. Horus stood quickly, throwing the curtain back into the empty space behind him as he headed for the stairs. Making his descent he yelled for Cena, before finding himself just inside the door of the large kitchen. "Cena, we will be eating late, I have matters to attend to with the Pharaoh."

He watched as Cena moved quickly passed him, without moving so much as an inch out of her way, to open the door for him. Following the rock path around the edge of the palace, Horus entered a side door and made his way through a long corridor and up another flight of stairs in search of the Pharaoh. His dagger gleaming mischeviously in the light of the torch lined walls as he passed, he couldn't help but reach down and pet over the sharp blade, a dark smile lining his face.

Placing the bread quickly onto the counter behind her, Cena stood up straight when she heard Horus call for her. She nodded when he spoke and quickly made her way to the door, pushing it open and waiting for Horus to exit, before following quickly behind him. He had a long stride and was walking fast. Cena was having to put forth some effort to keep up. The tall wall that surrounded the palace was to their left. Most people would have felt safe inside these walls, but Cena had a bad feeling that something awful was about to happen.

They entered the palace through a side door and Cena found herself still struggling to keep up with Horus. He was certainly in a hurry to be somewhere... Keeping an eye out, Cena hoped to spot Zahur somewhere so she could see that he was ok, but so far, they seemed to be alone in the long and dimly lit hall. Her eyes scanned down halls that branched away from them in search of Zahur and the Pharaoh as her sandals tapped lightly behind Horus. Usually the sound annoyed him, but now, his mind seemed somewhere else.
