Was that enough for him? It seemed so as Mitch was left in the silence to contemplate the world. The carriage rocked and swayed, agitating Mitch further; slender fingers yanked on the suffocating collar only to get a healthy zap. After a while, Mitch would once again get used to the electricity flowing through the collar that made it hard to talk, but how much longer would it take? Years had already gone by and even free elves weren't known to live long, being hunted for sport. For just a little while the fire in Mitch's eyes died down, showing fear, worry and concern for an unnamed object. Of course, there were things the elf desired, and it ignited the fire once again. Weakness had no place on a quest like this.

When they stopped Mitch was exceedingly thankful because even focusing on anger and drive was not enough to keep an elf from getting a bit motion sick in a carriage. When Thaddeus got out Mitch held up a finger and tried to get up. The whole ride had been spent on the floor since Mitch had had no desire to try to stand in a moving carriage. That may or may not have made the ride worse, the sight of such a sad lawn did make the feeling in the pit of Mitch's stomach worse. How could beings who shared no harmony with the earth have defeated the elves in their own forest? Mitch stepped onto the grass and a few blades of grass sprung to life.
