We use to rerecord those tapes for ourselves, even though we couldn't understand them. This was back around the time when Stars was still on the air in Japan. (Yeah, i'm old.  )
And then we used to buy fansubs off the internet. We bought the first season, S, SS and Stars. I can't remember why we didn't get R.
