Today would be a good day, Naya'Il decided. The ’oasis’ he sat in were shining in the sun and he didn’t know, if it was something everyone of his race felt or merely him, but he loved the sun. Especially feeling the sun’s rays caress his figure. Feeling how his body got warmed more and more up. Maybe it was, he pondered and turned his face upwards, so more of it was exosed to the sun. Maybe it was something, that had to do with him being an Elim. That would make the whole ’weaker-in-the-dark’ thing make sense. He straigthened his upperbody up, since it had fallen more and more down, because of the weight of his wings, and rose.

The ’oasis’ as he called it, was merely a small ’garden’ inside the harem – not that long from his ’home’. It wasn’t as spacious as the rest, but probably the smallest, and no one seemed to come there. Or…. if they did come, then it was not on the same time as him. The sun’s rays reached it in the morning and it held itself warm until the afternoon, where he could gradually be cooled down. Something he rarely needed, but it had become a little ’ritual’ of his before he went back to his room and did some chores, before going to bed.

He yawned slightly and grabbed his spear, that had been placed next to him, leaning on a tree, before he looked down at it. It had become a habit to take it with him, since he had learned to use it well, while fighting in the air, but it wasn’t neccesary to bring it with him, while he walked around in the harem – it usually just got in the way.
He weighted it in his hand, before sighing. ”I ought to put you away.” Naya mumbled – somewhat uncertain, before he nodded and walked briskly back to his room.

When he got there, he opened his door – he left it open, since he couldn’t see the idea of locking it, especially since he didn’t have any ’shiny valuables’. His room was very spartanic and somewhat bare, even though he been living in the room for the past six months. The only thing that gave away someone lived there, was the bed. All the other things were put away in certain places, so he could find them, when he needed them.
He put his spear away and locked it in, before going out of the room and closing the door behind him. He then turned left and drifted down the corridor. Sometimes being a guard was a little boring, since you, most of the time, just needed to patrol the harem.
