The only down side is that Vail (Valley Associates for Independent Living) work with my dad and if we were able to move into that house they wouldn't be able to any more since it's in a county that they don't serve. So we would have to find out what program similar to Vail serves that county.

hmm, if the house is handicap accessible, your firend's parents might have had a disability and they might be able to suggest some programs?
