Yeah, mine also only was diagnosed long after it started--think age 12 or 13--but it's been there since age 7. At least, that's the earliest I can say with certainty. May have been there at age six or may just have been the lead-up to it, don't know. By age seven, it was there though, and it's never left since.

I'm not currently treated for it, nor have I been for a long time. Medicines and I don't work together well and each of the previous times I had other treatment--therapy, etc.--all that happened is that it got worse not better. Unless things get a lot worse and I lose all control over it again, I don't foresee myself seeking any treatment, either. I know how to handle it and deal with it in my own way, which works well enough for me.
