One of a huge cast of playable characters for your party. To add her to your party, you have to listen to her story of how her parents own a hat shop but what she'd really like to do is study magic with the local mage. Then you have to talk to her parents and the mage. The parents agree she can study with the mage if you play a mini-game of delivering hats to the villagers in time for the festival. The mage agrees if you bring her a special item. The girl won't join your party immediately, but the next time you come to town after an in-game event she'll join your party automatically.
