much the same
a blur or color
faces
laughter from my throat
that rises up and bubbles out
and I can't stop it.
My eyes feel so heavy
my heart aches
but laughter keeps pouring out of me
Will the future find
a way for me to stop
a way to look at the world
without joy?
For I don't know
which is worse
the beauty in things that shouldn't be
or the beauty in nothing.
