Your life is what you would call pretty average. You might like like it, but what can you do. Sure, you could have money. Sure, you could have fame. But is that really what you want? Does it make you feel whole? You leave in NYC so you would think it's not a bad gig, but it is. You're bored out of your mind. No money, no fun -- nothing can make you feel alive. You're itching for adventure, action. You want your life to begin. You want to really push yourself to your limits.

Still, what can you do?

That's when something new happens. You win a ticket. A trip of a lifetime. You're promised the fun and action you want. Do you say no? Of course not! Who would pass up a free trip? When the day rolls around that you're supposed to take off, you realize that there are probably 20 other people on that plane with you. These people might not seem like much to you, or maybe they're your friends or family, either way... it doesn't matter.

The flight goes smoothly. All is well. You're about an hour from your vacation getaway. It finally looks like things might be looking up. You're grinning. You're happy. You're ready.

And then the plane lights flicker off. The plane falls from the sky and your breathing apparatus drops before you. Of course, not everyone is buckled up so some go flying down the aisle. Screams fill the cabin and you hear the captain shout, "We're going down!"

Head pounding and stomach in your mouth, you wake up. Your face is in the mud. You've no idea where you are. You hear sounds around you. Pushing up from the mud, you see you're not alone. There are others, the others from the plane, who are coming to.

A noise clicks from above. A voice speaks to you. It tell you you're alive and okay. But your neck aches and you've these weird tattoos and scars on your body.

What happened? You don't know. But they know. And they tell you.

You were kidnapped. Your plane crashed on their island, which was their doing. They drugged you and hauled you into this prison. You're on an island. There's no way off. You're their prison until they've 'tamed' you. But you don't want to be tamed. You don't want to be a lab rat. You want out.

As a few days pass, you start to grow weak. You know you can't make it any longer. Death is knocking at your door. When your eyes see for the last time, you spy and open gate.

Wait! An open gate!

Rushing out, you're free! Only, you're not. Tasered, you drop like a fly. Bag on your face, you're carried and dropped into a room. Bag off and your eyes are staring up at a man atop a throne. He's smiling. He's welcoming you. He's congratulating you.

You've survived?

Blinking out the fuzziness, you learn that you're no longer you. You've undergone changes. You're now a mutant. A freak of nature. You've powers or new looks -- something that makes you very special.

You can't leave the island. They don't want the world to have you -- not until you're ready. So you'll train and fight. You'll learn to control. But as time clicks on, you'll itch to escape. You want to go back home. To go home, you need to leave this castle. And, in doing so, you run into the thick of the island, right into the forest. To survive, you need to prove your worth. Enemies from within the forest come for you. The wild beasts hunt you. Fire, rain, and thirst will pick at you.

If you survive the hellish island, you can board a raft and set off to sea. A plane will pick you up and take you home. Upon arriving at home, you feel different. You notice everything has changed. It's been about 5-years. The city is no longer safe. It's no longer beautiful. Crime overruns it and you're the only one who can stop it.

Only, as you begin your hero's mission to save the city, your past comes back to haunt you. Those 5-years on the island come back and the man on the throne. He returns. He's out to kill you and expose you to the world.

You've a city to save and your face to hide.
