Madison sat for a few minutes after Dr. Lem's speech ended, silent. She was pondering his words carefully, trying to see if there was any hidden messages in what he said. Maybe a slip up, that would be a key in getting out of here. But, no matter how hard she thought, she couldn't quite figure out what he meant. New powers? This sounded like a sci-fi movie. Or something from Lost. She sighed softly, and looked up at the people in the cages around her. Mainly, they were going crazy. It was like all hell was breaking loose, but at least hell was nicely contained in their cages. It wouldn't take long, someone might snap.

Whatever these special powers were, Madison hoped that they wouldn't cause any trouble. Or, if they were dangerous, that they would be useful enough to get off this island. Just the thought of having supernatural powers was cool, but not if having them meant turning her into a weapon. She enjoyed her freedom, and she wasn't going to have anyone use her.
