The elder returned to the castle after finding an innocent for his bloodsister and slowly entered the room. "I hope you rested well." He said to her, carrying an unconscious young boy around the age of Damien in his arms. "I did find you a meal, but I had to put him to sleep. When he awakens he won't have the slightest idea on what happened." He explained as he stepped closer to her bed.

James finally made it home. He ended up pretty much crash landing in the stairs leading up to the front door, holding Damien close to him with his wings cocooning them- protecting them from the impact. Both unconscious and James nearly dead.
