As Aysel spoke, his nodding encouraged her, but seeing him end up frowning dampened her mood a bit. Had he not liked something she had said? Rubbing one of her cheeks for a moment, she thought over her words before deciding it was possible he had thought of something entirely different himself based upon them. Nisshoku had always been something of a mystery. Instead of dwelling on it, she turned her attention to the waiter as their drinks were set down. She spoke a quick but sweet thank you to him before looking down into her creamy cup of tea. Smiling warmly as she picked up the heated mug, she merely savored the feel of it in her hands for a moment before blowing gently on the liquid to cool it a bit. Then trying it, sweet and light in flavor, she sighed happily. "Mmh," she responded with a little bit of a soft laugh, then resting her gaze curiously upon Nis again.

He definitely hesitated before answering, something that make the curiosity in her eyes glimmer, but she said nothing to push him. He would say what he wished when he felt it right, that's what she believed of him. In fact, he ended up explaining more than she had expected him to. He wished to find himself, who he had been, wrap up the mystery of his past, and the mystery of his marked hand. She nodded along in understanding, trying for a moment herself to picture his situation. It would be a sad thing indeed to lose her memories, regardless of how free it would make her of past horrors. How he must feel, not knowing himself fully... She frowned a little bit, her eyebrows drawing together just slightly as she listened intently.

It didn't seem often that he discussed these things, so she was glad that he did, albeit it was something of a saddening concept. Her lips parted to respond to him, ready to tell him that no one wold deny him the right to help people, that he would surely find himself, and that he could be good despite the consequences-- but he stopped her from doing so. the words had been on the tip of her tongue, and he so swiftly directed a subject change. Pausing after his question, clear enough of what he meant to do, she sighed softly. Her frown turned into a bit of a small smile as she instead nodded in reply. "Of course! I am happy to see what they are like, the activities they are supposed to have." She replied honestly, allowing the subject change to occur even if leaving her words unsaid left her feeling quite unsettled.

As she sipped her tea quietly, she allowed her gaze to drift to his bandaged arm, the arm that many seemed to fear in some respects. He questioned it, others feared it, but she viewed it without much thought. To her, it was Nisshoku's arm. It was interesting, perhaps strange with the markings he wrapped up, but she did not draw fear from it as others did. Whatever powers it may seal, they appeared to be under his control. As if to show this even if she hadn't been allowed to say it, one of her arms casually extended across the table to rest its fingers gently upon its wrist. Looking at it for a moment before noting that she hadn't carried on the conversation, she lifted her gaze to smile at him sheepishly. "Will you be attending? Maybe you will try a tournament or something of the sort?" She returned the question casually, tilting her head slightly as she tried to picture that. He was very strong, though perhaps not quite so social.
