Plopping down so he could scratch behind his ears, Pedro tried to wrap his head around it. "~I don't remember my mom. I think I've always been a cat. Even though I knew I could be a human, I never took the form. Does it make you sad to be a pet and always a kitty?~" Pedro asked. To him, it was all he knew and the humans were so kind. Maybe Derek wanted to be more like a human though.
