Imhoff caught his eyes floating around and cursed mentally. They would have to move from the aquarium. She was making mistakes now. She'd been so relieved, thinking it was Mannik who was calling, she hadn't thought to move so she was against a wall. She was making mistakes. She needed to get this under control.

The ComPad beeped, and she glanced at it, talking to Zenon. "Go ahead and get a good look. We'll just move it all again anyway." Her voice was curt, and when she looked back, she smiled, though it was rather cold. She wanted to deny her bond with the man, but she wasn't going to outright lie. She was better than that. Personally? So she had been right. Mannik was Zenon's prisoner. Her eyes narrowed. It looked like she'd be paying a visit to Zenon later tonight.

She stiffened at the clear challenge, and crossed her arms over her chest, before the screen went blank. She didn't care whether he expected her or not. She didn't have a choice. She had to rescue Mannik.

As soon as the screen went blank, she finished getting ready to go to Above. Zenon expected her. Hell, he had practically invited her. 'We shall see, won't we?' Most likely he would be under heavy guard, as well as Mannik, then. God, what was she doing? This was so suicidal. Once again, her bright red hair was stuffed into a cap, then the soldier made her way to the ship she would be using.

He would never admit it, but this had been one of Mannik's fears since he had decided to follow in the Commander's footsteps and become a soldier. To be locked up and forgotten. Mannik felt like he was going crazy. He couldn't sleep: Everytime he did, he heard Adelmar crying. He'd look and look, but it was like she was running from him. And she probably was.

When he was awake, it was just silence, and this small room, along with the knowledge that he was oh-so alone in this world. He'd finally started messing with the door, but it was solid, and there was no way he could make it budge. Exercising only worked for so long. After a while, Mannik slid to the floor in the corner of the room, burying his head into his heads. Despite using the food to tell time, he was starting to get mixed up. It was just another thing pestering him.
