Once Yuffie got across the bar to stand in front of him, Vincent smiled. He pulled out the hand that held the chocolate chocobos and handed it to her. He watched as she opened them with a surprise. Then when she looked up at him again he pulled out the roses. "What do you think Yuffie?" He felt unsure of himself now that she was in front of him.
Tifa's phone rang and she answered it. It was Cloud. She smiled as she heard his concern for her and the children. "We're ok Cloud. We're just sitting at the bar eating breakfast. Yuffie, Vincent, and Barret are here too. You should see it! Vince just gave Yuffie a box of chocolate chocobos and a bundle of roses!" She figured that Cloud would want to know about this development.
Just then trust Barret to be paying attention to the conversation instead of his breakfast. "Wha'd you say?" He swiveled around in his chair and looked at the other two. He was stunned into silence.
