It's incredibly difficult to get me attached to a MMO for long, so I usually don't bother with the lore because I don't stay long enough to be invested. That probably explains why the MMOs I've played the longest are DC Universe Online and Lord of the Rings Online, because I already know some of the lore beforehand. 
I should.... get a cup of coffee. Maybe that will boost my brain a little more.
