I would be fine with reduced commons. i can't fathom affording them all anyways. Especially what you could do is introduce the recolors later on as recolors. It gives you a potential shop option for events for "between event news" like say you take a pair of pants, and release the theme's colors. Then a month later you release several recolors based on feedback from what people want to see.
