Trigger Piece: The fight for Freedom
~*We have our freedon riding on the shoulders...of a little girl*~

The year is 2945, humans have finally caught up with the aliens in technology. The aliens were very proud of the humans, and because of that, they allowed the humans to join the Intergalactic Union. Recognizing Earth as an intelligent planet. 50 years went by as things with the aliens and humans were great. However, something happened that even the aliens couldn’t stop. A large meteor crashed into the Earth. 6 billion humans of the original 10 billion were killed slowly or instantly. 4 billion humans were severely injured, 3 billion went missing and 100 million humans managed to escape. Only 1.1 billion humans were left in the world and the aliens had to figure out what happened. the aliens checked on the meteor and saw it was their worst fears, the Meteor held a race of aliens that were said to be the most feared, powerful and salvage of any race. The GIAs. Half beast and half machine, these behemoths were believed to be extinct and yet here they were in the meteor. The GIAs awoke and took over the Earth as their own, enslaving the remaining humans and the aliens who visited.

The GIAs noticed human females had the capability to control some of the machinery of the GIA than humans males or the aliens. The GIA Elders then decided to use the females to create half GIA and half human girls to destroy those who oppose them. The experiments were horrible and very violent; some of the experiments involving locking the girls in tanks of water, taking out their organs to let them dry of their blood and put them back in. The GIAs even went as far as trying to make a GIA be controlled by a little girl, but something went very wrong. The experiment little girl escaped with the help of her controlled GIA. With the escape, the last part of the experiment was never done and it was to convert the little girl into a GIA Controller to destroy the I.U.{Intergalactic Union}. The GIAs had made it their priority to find the girl and bring her back, turn her to a full fledge GIA.

The I.U. were afraid to help but knew they had to do something. However, they had luck on their side, the GIA were in the middle of a war between themselves. There is a small group of GIAs who believe they can coexist with the humans and the other alien species. The other GIAs, named Conquest, who want to destroy the I.U. and kill anyone in their way. The Resistance have to find the little girl who controls a GIA, she has the power to stop this war and bring peace to Earth and, hopefully, other planets. The choice is ours now, will you side with the Resistance to find the girl and protect her from the Conquest GIAs or will you side with the Conquest and use the girl for destruction?

Information of GIA and The I.U.:

GIA - sometimes colossal creatures, GIAs are feared for their brawn and brain, their brains are said to be developed by the time they are in their preteens. They are believed to be tamed until provoked.
Intergalactic Union - Founded in the Earth year 210, the I.U. have made sure things ran smoothly on different systems and their planets. They had recently allowed the humans into the I.U. and have been very happy to do that. Now they have to try and help the Resistance defeat the other GIAs and restore peace on Earth,

Bio: Todd was just a child when the meteor landed, and killed his parents and baby sister. He has always blamed himself for not being able to save his sister, who was just a tiny baby at the time. From that moment on, he went underground and did his best to survive. He is currently living in a subway system, and has discovered a girl living there as well.

Bio: Akira grew up like any other kid. Instead of playing cops and robbers, she played I.U. agents and alien scum. When she turned 17, she became an I.U. agent. It wasn't long until she was sent out on the field. Akira was on a leave of absence and visiting her family when the meteor hit. Having to fight of the GIAs, she made her way back to headquarters along with her little sister and brother. Now she fights to save the planet and avenge her family.

Bio:
Yukito has never really remembered much of where he was born let alone who any of his family members were. The truth behind his past was that this young child was born in a large space station that hovered around mercury, so it was no doubt to tell that the group of people who worked there were extremely used to the high temperatures of being so close to the sun. The group of people that worked there were trying to figure out any weaknesses they could create weapons out of so that they could fight back against the GIAs. Being this close to the sun, they had known well enough that the GIAs wouldn't dare try to attack the space station since it would hopefully burn away their bodies since the heat of the sun was strong enough to burn anything away to nothingness.
Yukito was the first child to ever been born in that space station an the day he was born, it was shocked to believe that even though being this close to the sun the young child had felt cold and almost dead. Fearing the worst, they had tried to take him away into a sealed room with nothing more then glass that allowed the suns rays to shine in for simply plain heat. Yukito had been carried into this room by his father with both of them wearing protective clothing only to allow certain amounts of heat into the suits. However, even then Yukito felt cold as ice but he still breathed to show that he was alive.
Realizing they couldn't do anything about it and as long as their child still lived the mother and father just accepted how cold their son was. However, the other scientists ha other plans for the young child. Around the time when the space station was set to complete darkness to allow everyone to sleep, four guards along with two scientists were sent to kill the mother and father as well as taking away the young baby for themselves. Obviously enough, they succeeded.
Taking the young baby into their care, rather then caring for Yukito as a baby they had began to run tests to figure out why the baby was so cold and yet was able to sustain the heat so easily like it was nothing.
By the time Yukito had grown to the age of 5, he was sent into a completely frozen room to push his limits to see how much cold he was able to take on his body.
After about a year or two of this, they had finally broken through and found out the boy had powers to control not only cold but all powers of water around him. Especially really cold water in all forms.
Trying to take this to their advantage, they had began to run even more tests on Yukito as well as experimenting by injecting him with pure mercury into his veins to see if they could make him stronger or make him be able to use the power on his own will whenever they wanted him to do so. They had only succeeded in making the young child blind around the age of 13 and ever since then he had to learn to use his other senses to see around him. As he was continued to be experimented on, around the age of 21 he had finally had enough as he was well aware of his own powers and able to control his senses more then perfectly. So with the new power of psychic on his side and his fond power of water he had broken free of his shackles and left the space station to get to earth.
Knowing very little about what was going on other then the fact that the GIAs had taken over earth and humanity was on the break of extinction. He had also heard small rumors of a resistance trying to find the last hope for humanity around on earth, Yukito around this point doesn't really know what to do other then try to know more about his past. Ever since the day he left the space station all his memories have been a complete blank and all he can ever slightly remember is pain.

Bio: Kia is an Akki, a race of alien that age slowly and have longer life spans, though they can be killed they are immune to most diseases that afflict humans. Kia's home planet, Tenma, was destroyed years and years ago. Ravaged by civil war, it's own people turned one against another, Kia was rather young and his parents were killed in the fighting. He wasn't sure who's side they were on or even what sides there were. He stowed away on a ship bound for leaving Tenma. He didn't know or care where it was going, but it was an I. U ship. The representatives had come to try and negotiate a peace between the opposing factions on Tenma. Not long after the ship had left Tenma airspace, the planet erupted into full out nuclear war. Completely obliterating everyone and everything on it. Kia was caught on the ship, but instead of being reprimanded the I.U decided to recruit the young Kia. He has now been with the I.U for 75 years. He is a valued medic as well as combatant due to his abilities.

Other: Akki aliens cannot change their form or shape to look more human, their bodies heal only slightly faster than normal humans and they are a very agile race. There are probably other survivors of the planet Tenma, but Kia has never seen any others. Though Akki are slow aging and resistant to many diseases, they are not immortal. They can be killed as easily as a human or simply die from old age.

Bio: Not much is known about the ancient alien prior to her career as a pirate. She joined a crew when it visited port on a distant planet long ago when those who ruled its waters ruled that world. They found her in a humanish form matching the rest of the planet and sitting on the ground holding the gaping hole that had been her eye. She was covered in blood and seemed a little dazed. When they spoke to her she said only that she was 'lost' and hoped to find something that would make her feel 'found'.She seemed to speak in such a way that they weren’t sure how much of the language she really understood. Still the pirate was worried about her and allowed her to join the crew.

She worked her way up to first mate and found she loved the traveling pirate life. When the captain died she took over though she tended to steal and pillage but not kill her victims like many other pirates before her. As times changed she evolved and made the change from sea pirate to space pirate easily as centuries passed. She traveled the stars like she had the sea, searching for more freedom, more treasure, and more knowledge while ignoring the politics of the universe... not that many were above hiring her to steal an object or two. An unexpected detour to earth found her caught in the conflict and the immortal has chosen to stay to see what will happen, pretending to be nothing of note. She seems to find life in general amusing and follows her whim so it isn't the first time she's done something like this. She wishes to find luna, likely because of the many references to the moon and how moons seem to fascinate her but does not yet have any particular allegiance to anyone but herself.

Other: Her true form currently unknown as her original race. She has traveled so many worlds no one seems to recall her roots or where she comes from. The only thing known is her symbol is a silver crescent 'moon' and that no matter what form she takes she always wears her crescent moon eye-patch as well as keeps her jade green eyes.... or rather eye. She also carries a staff that belonged to someone important to her with various crystals and charms with special meaning to her attached to it. It seems to strengthen her powers over water as well as control her ship which seems to have some sentience and is currently under the seas out of commission while healing from damage done in some sort of space storm. The staff and ship only seem to obey her for unknown reason.

Bio: Scar belongs to a race called the Yautja, a race that used to hunt other races for sport when the other races banned together forming Intergalactic Union the Yautja become the blunt of the security and army, still sending there hunters to game planets that were licensed by the Intergalactic Union when the union finally decided to bring the humans into the union the Yautja were not happy with the decision believing that, humans were to weak to stand with them but soon trusted there forces to hold there own when the asteroid hit earth the Yautja forces were the first to land and search the crash sight and Scar was one of the few survivors that survived the GIA attack and after the loss of his brothers at arms he devoted his life to fighting the GIA and he will do what ever it takes to kill them all...

What are you: He is an escaped slave from his home world, who has been living on earth.

Bio: Xiero is from a planet known as Razdor translated in human language as "Discord". On his home planet, darkness and chaos rule, the aliens there are the things of nightmares for many races. Xiero was a slave to the ruler of Razdor, a ruthless king who enjoyed torturing him and using him however he wished. He lost his left eye because of this, keeping it covered due to a curse put on him by the ruler. Xiero developed his powers from a young age, being one of the reasons he caught the ruler's eye. On his seventeenth birthday, he escaped from Razdor on a trade vessal. Eventually, the vessal landed on Earth far from his home planet and out of its powerful reach for now. He has been living on Earth since then, taking up a carrer as a singer for a popular band called Eclipse. His music is typically an outsource for his power in a peaceful manner, though he can not resist playing pranks or games with people at times. Luckily for him, he looks reletivly human, other than his horns, pointed ears, tail and eyes. Many believe this is part of his act as an artist however. He does not like to talk about himself or his past at all, often getting annoyed or angry when it is brought up. He is defensive about it. He knows that the ruler of Razdor is looking for him, as well as that he may possibly know where he is. It is uncertain for him, if the other is working with the GIAs for whatever reasons. Nothing else is really known personally about him, not even by his manager or band mates. He typically does not let others get to close.

Other: Due to a curse by the ruler, Xiero's left eye is cursed and always kept covered by special bandages. It pains him at times, and if he is ever not wearing the protection, the curse taakes effect. Due to it, his master is able to get inside his head, seeing, hearing, feeling, etc, what he does. He is able to speak to him through his mind, as well as track him. He is even able to take forceable control of his body and power.

Luna can go through walls, see in the dark and she can talk to Zorro telepathically. Zorro's armor is powered by the bond with Luna. If Luna is too far then the armor becomes weaker. Zorro has enhanced strength, speed and stamina, he can also speak to Luna telepathically.

Zorro is able to blend into his surroundings for two hours and he can make a barrier.
Weakness:
Luna is terrified of doctors and Zorro hates loud noise.

Bio:
Luna wasn't named of her parents. She was named by the scientists since they only worked on her at night. Her mother, a human slave, and her father, a purebred GIA, tried to keep their daughter hidden. However, when Luna turned two years old, the scientists found and snatched her from their arms. her father tried to take Luna back, only to be told if he tries to take Luna away then they will kill his wife. Luna's father was force to watch as they performed horrible experiments on her. The scientist the realized they didn't have to do the process of turning her into a GIA human, they were pleased and started working on turning her into a full GIA Controller. Having to remove her organs and draining the blood from them then put them back. The next thing they did was cut off her limbs and replace them with GIA bones, they even toke her eyes out and put in a pair of alien eyes. Her father was furious when he saw this and refused to have his daughter become what he was.

One night, something went wrong. Luna's father destroyed the machine that held Luna and escaped with her on his back. He carried her all the way to an abandon subway tunnel so she couldn't be found. Luna begged her father to stay but he told her he couldn't, he had to free Luna's mother and try to fake is loyalty to the Conquest. 8-year-old Luna understood and remained in the tunnels alone for a year until she met an injured Zorro. Luna nursed him back to health and a a grateful Zorro became Luna's controlled GIA. He has dedicated his life to protecting Luna until the day Luna dies.

Luna's skin is a dull gray due to the lack of light in the subway and sewage tunnels and her lack of blood supply from her organs. Luna also wears a choker given to her by her mother before she was taken called "The Moon's Eye". Zorro doesn't have any eyes so he uses his sensory to "see" what is happening.

She soon left home and traveled to Earth, where she set up the Resistance, in direct opposition to her parent's wishes.

Bio: Nothing is known about Raven, where she comes from or who she is. She had no memory, before floating in space and being found by a ship belonging to the resistance. She became a part of the team then, with no where else to go, working her way up to the rank of Lieutenant. She is typically viewed more like that of a cyborg now, following orders and programing given to her by the leader and no one else. She is capable of human emotions and human acts, though they seemed to be erased from her long ago, causing her to be at a stage of "relearning" how to act and be more than just a weapon. She is confident in her own abilities, not afraid to fight or to put herself in danger for others. She is also a bit oblivious and naive, not understanding other's emotions and reactions, such as in responce to her clothing or her own actions. She is bold and blunt, always honest and never beating around the bush about anything. She holds a strong curiosity, always wishing to learn more about anything and eveything she can. With her non human form, a more ferral mind takes over, causing her to become more destructive, as opposed to her more logical and rational human side. She is slowly regaining her memories, various things around her triggering them. She is unsure about how she will feel or what will happen once she knows who she is however.

Guro Aang Cutter is one of the oldest GIAs and he is welling to use his powers to destroy those who are in his way. He has been the litter of the Conquest for about have of his life and he loves his job. In fact, he was one of the Scientist who was experimenting on Luna, the One named Moon. He named her Luna for his own personal reason; the fact her powers had to deal with the dark and her eyes were as bright as the moon. He had put her through all the pain and torment so she can be the perfect GIA human like so many before, however he wasn't expecting Luna to have already been a half GIA. The experiments would have to be worse than how they normally were. The screams were accustom to him and music to his ears. What made it more exciting for him was making Luna's father, Darwin, watch as the experiments worsen. But this all changed in one day.
The alarm went off at midnight to reveal a horrible sight, Luna had escaped with the help of her father. Enraged, Guro scoured the entire compound to find Luna's father and mother. Once he found them, Guro took Luna's mother, Melinda, and placed her in a take of water and locked. Darwin attacked Guro in a fit of rage but Guro pinned the small GIA to the ground, grinning. He told Darwin if he ever tried to do that again, he will kill Melinda in the most horrible way possible. Darwin submitted and quickly removed Melinda from the tank of water. Guro had then convinced the GIA elders to make him a leader of the Conquest, he made it the priority of the conquest to find Luna and use her to destroy the humans and the Resistance and possibly, the I.U.

Guro secretly gave Luna a test which was to see how strong she was to normal GIAs. He was shocked to see that Luna was about to withstand a number of tests normal GIAs couldn't survive. It was rumored Guro even tried to kill Luna with 5 times the dose of morphine for an average human. However when he turned to clean up the mess, Luna was still alive and breathing fine. Guro now wonders if Luna can even be considered a GIA or a Elder GIA.

He is able to manipulate electricity to an unimaginable rate that if he had lost control of it he would be able to take out several hundred miles of all power. His strength has completely been unmatched by the other GIAs other then that of the leader, he is also able to create strange scythe like weapons from the palm of his hands out of some weird yellowish liquid that seems to be part of his body.
Armor:
Axel is able to create large barriers around himself and others using the same liquid he does to create his scythe-like weapons as well that he uses his metal arms and hands to block incoming attacks.
Weakness:
From time to time, his body will go into a slight frenzy as he would start to go into extreme amounts of pain that causes him to collapse onto the ground making him vulnerable to any attacks.

Bio:
Axel was had originally been born and raised as a GIA alien, around the time he was brought into the time of existence the GIA race had only been several hundred miles away from the planet earth from within the large meteor. Once landing upon the planet, he was continued to be raised by his parents while the whole race had slowly began to take over the planet and enslave each and every earthling the other GIAs thought deserved to be enslaved. Obviously enough, the young robot was kept away from all of this while he was growing up larger and larger. By the time he had reached his adult years, Axel had no other choice just as all other GIAs learned about the experimental human female had gone missing after tons of tests done upon her.
When the he had learned about this, he hadn't wasted much time to question both his parents about what was going on. It did take some time for them to accept the fact that their son was strangely stronger then both of his own parents even when combined, but in the end they told him about the female GIA named Luna's experiments. Learning about how she had the body of a human but yet also had a GIA machine to follow with her just as easily, Axel became curious about the humans as he went out to the scientists on hopes they would tell him more as well.
By the time Axel had reached the scientists, each and every one of them had been shocked to see how Axel was able to break through all the guardsmen GIA to reach them only to question them upon their tests on the human female. They had informed him much about it only to receive the request about them using their tests upon his own body and make him just like how that human female was. Shocked at what he requested, the scientists all didn't waste any time but to begin their tests upon the young GIA. However, what Axel didn't expect was the intense pain that followed with those tests. He screamed and struggled to get free multiple times but the tests had continued to go on till he had finally broken free from the scientists grasps when they were preparing to work upon his arms.
Once free, Axel had taken a good look at himself only to find that he was now indeed had the same looks as a human, only difference was his eyes, arms and skin. After that day, he had escaped from the clutches of the scientists to see how the lives on the humans worked. While walking through the darker areas of the planet, Axel had ended up finding himself ambushed by the human race as they opened fired upon him even when he tried to get them to stop so that he could simply speak with them. Listening to their screams and yells as they cursed at him while they tried to kill him, Axel was lucky enough to escape from them with his body nearly becoming swiss cheese.
Now with the thoughts of the human race being completely evil and not to mention unforgiving, Axel had joined the conquest to help in the destruction of that humanoid female who was the original test subject for the GIAs.

Just because he had joined the conquest GIAs, hasn't meant completely that he is always following orders to the word as he even sometimes disobeys direct orders sent to him.

Bio: Tyler had little care of the world through his life, he was born literally in the sewers, losing his mother when he was only 3. He has no idea what happened to her, from what he knew she went to try and find food and never came back, since that day he started to fend for himself. He became a street rat always fending for himself, people never really came to help him and he thought it was because of this right arms weird skin, always looking as if it was scared. It wasn't until he was about 12 and he got into a fight with a young group of boys who were trying to steal his food that he learned why most people who lived the streets gave him wide birth.

The day was burnt into his mind, he was attacked 3 boys swinging makeshift clubs at him as two others tried to grab at him to hold him. Tyler had freaked yelling out in fear and stuck out his right hand towards the boys to push against one that was getting close, his eyes closed. Then suddenly everything went quiet the boys were silent, except a few whispers of horror, when Tyler opened his eyes he saw why they had stopped, where he had touched the other boy was a smoldering mark. His hand though was on fire, engulfed in flames, but they didn't hurt at all. The boys hadn't stayed around and instead ran away yelling at him and saying he was a freak, but Tyler was more amazed by his hand to listen.

From that day he was outcast by even the few who had given him food when he was in dire straits so he started stealing to eat. He stole from the surface and sold the items below, he kept only one thing from everything he stole, a hilt of a sword, no blade just a hilt. He found the hilt gave him a good place to concentrate his abilities which he practiced often, in an attempt to master them. Scars still litter his body from when he got pissed about not being able to do what he wanted to do, and thus the flames flared burning him. His clothes bare these scars as well, often exposing his right arm to the shoulder and always being patching with burn marks. He wears the hilt at his waist, having tied it on when he wasn't using it. At the age of 16 he moved to the subway systems, staying among the abandoned tracks, often using back tunnels to the surface, though never exploring outside of his little "piece of haven" (an old control center)

Recently he had been more brash in exploring the near by tunnels, due to the lack of things to steal and trouble on the surface, meaning he has been forced to dive deeper in the tunnels. Hes heard voices in the echoing tunnels, carrying for long distances, which makes his exploring slow, since he doesn't want to run into unwanted guests.

Other: Tylers eye are at rest a Green Hazel, but when he is trying to control fire they turn to a vibrant golden color. They shift to a bright red when he gets angry and out of control.
