His attention was drawn to a creature who seemed to be watching him. He blinked a bit, watching the demon creature for a moment. It seemed to just watch him, before motioning with a hand and starting off down the hall. He tilted his head slightly, wondering if this was one of the beings who worked for Darius. He was not sure for a moment if he should follow, it could have possibly been a trick. A reason to lead him off somewhere where he would not be able to escape. He had heard tales of demons luering people, it was what they did. Tempt and destroy, corruption and falseness were their specialty. It stopped down the hall, turning to once more beckon him on. He sighed, might as well see what it wanted, he would be careful.
He followed along, the demon ahead of him not speaking at all, as they moved along. It did not seem to be threatening or wanting to harm him, but looks could be decieving indeed. They approached a door, and the demon stopped, before placing a hand on the door to push it open. It then took a step back, and motioned with a hand inside. Akio paused, glancing inside for a moment. He caught a glimpse of a dining hall, and of Darius. So, this was where the demon had gone...he supposed even they had to eat to, though from what he had heard, most of their choices involved either humans or animals. It was nice indeed, to see that there was another side to at least his pallet.
He turned his head to thank the demon who had shown him the way. The demon in question was already moving away. "Thank you..." he said, the demon merely lifting a hand for a moment before continuing on. It did not turn, did not speak. He wondered if there were indeed kinder demons as he had thought before. He turned his attention back to the dining hall, before stepping inside of the door. He did not for a moment lift his eyes to the demon, taking a breath, before lifing his eyes after all. "Good morning" he said, though again he was not completely sure if it was morning. "I hope you slept well..." a simple and casual enough statement, but king and natural for him as well. He did not wish ill on anyone really.
Did demons even have nightmares? He thought back for a moment to those he had had. He had not slept perfectly, but he had rested well enough. He pushed the thoughts from his head, then wondering for a moment what the day would hold. Would they return to how they had been upon first meeting? The other possibly had work to do, so Akio wondered for a moment if he would be left alone today. There was really no telling, and guessing was getting him nowhere. He would allow the other to tell him once he was ready. For now, Akio turned his attention to the windows within the room. The sky looked a bit different from this angle of the home.
Perhaps the demonic world was like many other things...many ways to it, depending on how you viewed things. Perhaps such a thing could tie into the demons as well, though time was something that would play a part as well. He smiled lightly, looking at Darius a bit, "thank you again....last night was nice..." Playing the piano toghether had indeed been plesant. "Seems we did indeed learn a bit about each other...." he left it there, perhaps he was having similar thoughts as the demon here. He turned to let him be, to let him enjoy his breakfast in peace if he desired such.
