I'm from Malaysia. =)
Most of the time, I speak Cantonese, though I understand Mandarin.
Other variations, like Hakka, Hokkien, Teochew, I'm horrible at them. xD;
I took up Japanese for two years before I went on a student exchange programme. It's actually a rather nice language to learn. ^^
