So I'm going to have some fun here and report all the books I'm reading as I read them. First on deck? A book I haven't read since grade school that I really missed- Fly By Night by Frances Hardinge. I have no idea why, but this was in the small children's section. I had to go to the baby's library to get a book with nearly 500 pages that's about conspiracy, espionage, the toll of religion, governing bodies at war, orphans, illiteracy, etc.

I just want to give a slow clap to 8 year olds who picked up this book and loved it.
