Keeping everyone on their toes was a part of Loki's game. Waving Nessa on, his illusion walked her forward, allowing his true-self to sink back and deal with an usual pair of eyes that fell on him. Nessa might detect his absence, but she wouldn't dare follow after the real one. There was a reason he split and all knew to respect it. As the doppelganger escorted her toward the pub where the Slasher was last sighted, Loki made his way around some back alleys. Within no time, he was standing beside the man who's eyes he felt on him for quite some time now.

"Can I help you," he asked in a playful tone. His enunciation was flawless, just like his perfect, white teeth. Nothing about this guy screamed villain. No, no. He was just too damn sexy. Perhaps he was a tad corrupt, but, in his mind, he was right. It was really all just a matter of opinion. Of course, how he went about his plans also mattered. But Loki's intension was to never straight-up slaughter people. It was no fun. To kill was boring. To break the mind and command? Now, that was fun.

His brown-orange eyes shined with excitement as he eyed this beau over. Yue was fair skinned and fair eyed, with matching pale eyes. His outfit was bold, as the red made him flamboyant, but also very sophisticated and becoming of him. The black suit really made his pale features look even whiter. He almost seemed ghostly to Loki. Was this man a Shi? If so, who's side was he on? Loki could trick that out of him, but decided it wasn't worth it. This Yue fellow was following him and for a reason. His eyes were trained on he and his very movement. Cracking a smile, he laughed. "To what do I owe this pleasure? It's not everyday I am stalked, especially by a man of your size and stature." His brow quivered. "Do I sense a hint of power on you. A fellow Shi, I presume?"

Loki circled the blonde as if he were a model in need of inspection by the fashion designer. His hand lightly tapped his chin before he came to a stop. "I like you. I really like you." For knowing nothing about the teenager, Loki had already come to applaud the chap. He was brave for hunting him and even braver for not wavering in his presence. Grin still in tow, Loki put out his hand. "Loki Vinter," he stated, "but I'm sure you already know that."

Shaking his head, Halvard looked over at the redhead at his side. "I doubt they know much of anything. We might be a group of elites, but predicting the moments of others is always hard. In the case of Loki, you never know when he'll do something good, which will throw us all for a loop. He's clever like that. He knows how to work an audience and change the tides of war better than anyone I've ever met."

There was a reason Hal always teamed up with Rynn and it was because she was smart. Truthfully, Hal wasn't a fan of the Shi's. He saw them as a threat to mankind, but he also understood that they could be a powerful tool to help in great times of need. Much like superheroes, the Shi served their place in society. In a perfect world, Halvard would have had both groups living with one another and the word "Shi" would just be dropped. When push came to shove, underneath it all, all where still human. They all still had feelings and they all had hopes and dreams. Even family and loved ones.

"I'm sure it's a trap. Or a diversion. But you heard the boss. Orders are orders. We just need to be wary of our surroundings." Hal checked his arm. He had grabbed the right coat today. It was flame retardant, which would prevent him from being on fire should Rynn need to unleash her orange stream of heat. "You just do what you need to and make sure we're safe. Don't worry about me. I have my flameproof suit on." A smirk crossed his lips. "And I do love the tropics so the heat is no qualm of mine."

Rolling up to the tracks, Halvard could already see where the bloodbath took place. Some of the tracks were ripped up and there were pools of blood here and there. A body was toppled over itself closer to one of the boxcars. Frowning, he cautiously opened his door. Gun in hand, he placed one sure foot on the ground. Scanning the area before making another step, he noticed that the coast was clear. The Shi must have taken off further into the train yard. Fingers pointing toward the cars, he signaled for Rynn to go to the right and he would cover the left. Scurrying across the track and past the body, Hal stopped to insure there was no pulse. There wasn't one so he moved on. Now pressed against the cool, metal car, he readied himself to peek around the corner. He heard laughter and knew things were going to get ugly. And fast.
