Nathan watched the bird fly off, eyebrows raised at it's behavior at him. He looked back at her comment, nodding; "You'd have to be," he said, glancing at the waves. Even though he had nearly drowned, he wasn't afraid of the water. He'd spent too much time in it to be afraid.

"Lily," he repeated, not noticing the pull on his hand until she started to move away with his hand. He was just starting to argue when she told him not to, mentioning the condition of his back. His first reaction was fortunately not acted upon, as it was surprise and a sense of 'oh no, not again.'

"They're just small ones," he argued anyway, but allowed her to lead him, figuring it was more polite to let her than to argue every step of the way. Besides, now that his system was mostly recovered, he was starting to feel hungry…
