Peridot
The sun felt good upon his skin. Opening his bottle of water Peridot, currently going by Ryuko Mitsuyo, reached into his pocket for his keys. He had just come back from a run, something he did every morning around this time. He opened the door, slipping inside. The immediate feeling of something brushing against his leg became apparent. "Animus, Ariel" he smiled, closing the door behind him. Two meows followed his words, ones that each held their own personalities. They were two beautiful creatures in his eyes. Their names were of Latin decent, a language that Peridot had always been fond of. Animus meant Pride, his coat was of a deeper tan color, his eyes a warm golden brown. Ariel meant lion of god or fire-hearth of god, depending on how one took it. She lived up to the firey side of her name, her coat a lighter golden tan, her eyes a strong yellow.

They were his only companions within this house. They were also reinvisions of his old companions, two lions who used to be by his side. He dropped the keys into a bowl on the table by the door. The cats kept in stride with him, as he moved to the kitchen. "Hungry?" he asked, they meowed in responce. He chuckled, making a bowl of food up for both of them. Once they were eating, he moved away into the bedroom. He needed a shower. It felt nice, to get under the hot water. Reaching a hand up to pull the hair thing out of his hair. It fell to the back of his knees. Peridot was known for having the longest hair of any of the guardians. Most would say the most beautiful in nature as well, it was always soft and seemed to never tangle. Along with his slim and lengthy form, handsome features, he was considered perfection to many who knew him back in the day. Even currently, in this time, he was thought to be well endowed. He was said to have a grace about him, a slightly feminine way about him as well.

He did not notice really. Where his hair was concerned though, he did notice. It was stubborn. He had learned to give up trying to cut it long ago. No matter how many times he tried, it grew back to its origional length within mere hours. So he had gotten quite fond of the length and how it flowed, letting it often be as it may. Getting out, he ran a hand through the front of his wet hair with a sigh. He needed to dress, slowly moving out into the bedroom. He did not mind the trail of water that he left in his wake. It would dry. He opened the closet, he chose a dark pair of jeans, and a black shirt that had a hood. He slipped the clothing on, all of it fitting him well, hugging his curves in all the right ways. He did not even try most of the time, and yet most said he looked good in everything. He sighed, he seemed to be one of the twelve who found it harder to blend in flawlessly. His handsome looks and personality made him stand out. He sat on the edge of the bed, pulling on a pair of tan boots.

Ariel hopped up onto the bed, rubbing against his side. He moved a hand to behind her ear, scratching a bit. She began to purr, looking up at him with her eyes. His own moved to her's, no words said or needed in this moment. As with most of his creations, they seemed to have a connection, a bond. They were a part of him, but these two more than others. They were personal, very close to his heart. "I have to go out, you two will be alright?" he smiles. She gave a meow, which caused him to chuckle. They were smarter than the average cat, they could handle themselves if need be. He reached over to the table by the bed, slipping a camera from it. He was a photographer in his spare time. A hobby that he liked to do, because of his love of nature. He had always been fond of its beauty. Perhaps that was one of the reasons he had gotten along with and always had an interest in Emerald.

He stood, heading out of the room, followed by Ariel. Animus sat upon the counter, his keys within his mouth. Peridot chuckled once more, opening his hand to the feline, to which it dropped the keys into. "Thank you" he inclined his head, the two following him then to the door. He paused for a moment, before turning to look back at the window to the side of him. He had felt a slight ripple. To Peridot, changes in the balance between life and death came as a sixth sense to him. Especially when it came to others like him, one of the twelve. He had been feeling them more lately, more of the others were awakening. They were getting closer. He opened the door, stepping out before he locked it.

He did not have anywhere to be, so he would spend the current time with nature and his camera. He walked along, snapping photos of a few scenes as he walked along his usual route towards a cafe he frequented. A quiet place, somewhere he enjoyed to have a nice cup of coffee or tea. He enjoyed reading there or working when he had the opportunity. He made his way along the park's walkway, heading to the other side. Pausing, his eyes moved up to the sky for a moment, taking a deep breath of the fresh air. It really was a beautiful day out. A slight smile teasing upon his lips, he finished his walk to the cafe. It was quiet as usual, the air comfortable and home like in nature. He slipped into his usual position by the window, flipping through the pictures that he had taken. A waitress came over, from which he ordered a hazelnut cappuccino from. Awaiting his coffee, his eyes remained on the camera.
