Like the statue is actually living but not really in this world. I think that maybe the bonds holding it here are quite powerful. Leyrn ran after Cryla to arrive at a place that resembled a holy ground. Most of the grounds had been destroyed, but some could have survived. Entering the cave like structure, there was a statue.
