Cain's lips pulled farther in a frown too similar to a pout. He disliked that he was losing this argument, but he knew that he was. What was even the point of talking back anymore? Of course he, the foreigner, didn't know anything about this forest. It was a given and irk at the same time. Just thinking about it sent a wash of bitterness into his heart. Like he couldn't do any better than this. He turned away from the path he ran toward before. "I'm not listening because you told me so.
