Avril toppled over and hit her head on he floor. "Hey! Watch where you're goining, damn it!" She sat up and squeezed her eyes shut, rubbing the place where her head had made contact with the floor. Yeah, it was going to definitely leave a bump. That was twice in the same day Avril had hit the floor. It was starting to get old. Sighing, Avril opend her eyes and looked up. Some boy had crashed into her. It looked like he was on his way to school or something. The load on his back was huge. "What are you doing out here in the middle of the night? Isn't it past your curfew or something?"
Avril hadn't exactly meant for it to come across as mean as it had, she was just in a bad mood. She had supposedly been "chosen". Whatever the hell. That meant. Not only that but someone had just dumped her here. Come to think of it, where was Here anyway? What was this place?
Noticing the boy had a blue crescent outline of the moon, Avril was surprised. "Wait! Do you know where we are? You have the same mark as me." Avril stood up and brushed herself off. She looked like a car had hit her or something.
