She had yelled at the door. Saying for him to tell her why she was wrong. He should have ignored it, let the woman leave and simply be done with her. But something told him that it would not be simply that easy. The Cain and Vladamir were the same in the sense that they were stubborn. He sighed, before standing up. He strode over to the door, pulling it open in time to see her on her horse glaring at the castle. "If you would keep your blade away enough to actually listen you might learn" he leaned against the doorframe, "you could have also knocked rather than sneaking in....I do have manners. Do you?" He watched her for a moment. His eyes then lowered a bit to the horse she was upon.

"It is a beautiful horse.....not many have a true love or care for animal companions, it is not hard to see that it trusts you and has been raised well..." his own beloved steed had died long ago sadly, he had been by his side. A black stallion, contrasting to his own white hair. He then looked back up at her, he stepped aside from the door, leaving an opening to the inside. "You may come inside if you desire to talk. I will make no move against you or to harm you as long as you do not either" the choice was hers, "I will not force you to accept anything that is said, you are free to believe in the end what you wish." He looked up into her eyes then, "if that leads to you continuing with this vendetta, then we will be at an impass that can be dealt with if it comes."

With that, he left the door open and moved back inside. He moved over to the book where her arrow lay in the cover. Sighing, he pulled it out of the cover. Such unneeded violence and to a book. He tossed the arrow aside, gently running his fingers over the gouge that it had left. Thankfully the book was leather bound, so it did not go to far within it. He did not turn to see if she had come in or not, but he could still sense her. It was her choice whether she came in to talk or not. Some might see it as an opportunity to get close enough after such a fight and that was fine to. He had made the vow that he would not harm her if she did not make a move on him. But that in the end would also be up to her, she was welcome to try. Next time he might not be so kind however in showing her out.

He picked up the apple that he had taken a bite from, taking another before moving back to the stairs to retreave the tea cup that was still sitting there surprisingly in one peace. It was here that he chose to look up at her once more. His eyes lingering upon her for a moment as she clearly seemed to appear that she did not like this. Whatever her reasons for coming in, at the moment at least he could use his words rather than blade. Perhaps he did speak to much at times, but it was more because he had seen to much of only fighting and what it could do. Moving back to the kitchen, the water was still hot. He moved it to the table, getting another cup as well. He would not force her to drink, she might think it was poisoned.

But he did indeed have manners, it was offered to her at least. There was also still plenty of fruit as well. He disposed of his own apple, as well as cleaned his cup. He should have probably said something, but he would allow her a rebuttle or begin with questions she might have. Although it was safe to assume that they would be directed at why he was in her eyes a monster or could slaughter innocent people. She would push and prod most likely, nothing he had not heard before. The Cain were notorious for making themselves look like the pure victims in all that had happened. He leaned against the sink, looking at her once more, what would her first move be now.
