The recipe it's self is kind of a family secret, so I can't really share it. But since Grandma passed away this summer there was nobody to make the cookies we've all grown up with having for every single holiday... So I found her recipe and made them for my family so that at least one of our food traditions would still be there for this year's Christmas, and so that it was like grandma was there in at least some way. I even burned a small bag full for one of my aunts since grandma used to do that for her with every batch.
