Ace walked along the curb of a once again overflowing with water road. It had been raining nonstop now for three days. She had her hood pulled up on her head, casting a shadow over her face. She wore the hood partially for keeping her identity secret, and keeping the bone chilling wind and freezing rain out. Even though wearing white clothing was not very popular among the people, Ace was never cast a second look when she walked by others. The rest of her "family" were probly still out on business. So she stopped at a local coffee shop, hoping that the rain would at least dry from her body from the warmth. Walking up to the counter, she said,"Coffee, black, no sugar.",in a surprisingly harsh voice.

Lucifer pulled the ear bug out of his ear and rubbed his sore ear. Although they were handy, the bugs really agitated his ear. "Night",said his partner as Lucifer was walking out the door. He waved his hand, acknowledging the formality. Once outside, he titled his head towards the sky, letting the rain chill his face. It felt good. To actually feel something. Lucifer worked as a double agent for the government. He worked at a police station and reported the rogue officers to the government for a reward. The rewards were usually generous, for his job wasn't easy. Today he had gotten his paycheck from the police station. He would stop by and grab a pizza for his "family". Pizza was a rare treat for them, but since his pay had been generous, he could spare the money.
