The ground started to shake as the raptor laying before her seemed to quiet, its gaze looking up at the blonde with grateful eyes. The shaking though, it caused the reptilian pack to begin growling, looping around the woman and their fallen comrad; they were noticably on guard. The creature that cause them to panic so, while near them, wasn't headed in their direction. Kali's head whipped around as she heard the voices of people nearby and then suddenly, the world was flying by her in a whirl of colors.

Blinking a few times, the blue eyed woman looked up to the sky. The air around her was hot and humid, bugs chirped and called to each other in the distance. Looking next to her, she saw her staff, before looking back towards the canopies, letting out a content sigh.

She wasn't with the raptors anymore, but Kali didn't seem to realize that she had actually been with them in the first place. There was nothing on her face that gave way to any sense of confusion about what had just happened. Why? Because even though Kali could recall those memories, they didn't feel like hers, they felt like a distant memory or dream.

The woman reached towards a golden chain that hung from her neck, a smooth stone hanging from it. Her hands went to that stone; it looked very much like a pearl, but it was transluscent in appearance which caught the suns rays causing a dance of color to appear within its core. It was a stone that was coveted by mortals, it was rare and sold for quite a lot of money for those that could get one. For Kali though, it held no real value, it was just something she had.

The stone was one from the Sands of Time, though the woman would not recall such a thing. It was simply a rock that had been polished through the rushing of sands that the change of time that took place in that realm. Since the Sands of Time could only be reached through magic, it was extremely rare that a human would get one. Those from the Sands though, found it interesting to give them to humans as their behaviors seemed to go from interested to beyond excited. It was a common stone to one and a treasure to another.
