"That necklace doesn't suit her," Dayna said as the room plunged into darkness, well, not complete darkness. The embers in the hearth seemed to be fighting for their lives and gave off very little in the form of light or heat. She would have a hard time seeing the white haired male unless he was right beside her so given the fact that she couldn't see him out of the corner of her eyes meant he hadn't come too close yet.

Her eyes were locked on the fair skinned woman in that portrait, almost as though she couldn't look away. Granted, she could, but for as stubborn as the woman was, she appreciated old works, though that probably wasn't much of a surprise. "It fights the viewer, trying to take the attention away from the wearer. Blue would have suited her much better, don't you think?"

It was then that Dayna turned her attention towards the darkness that led to the door. She didn't bother moving for if stories were right, even if she moved out of the pitiful glow of the embers, Kuroyami would know full well where she was located. Her fingers locked in front of her rather than resting on the furniture.

She was curious to see his reaction. She knew that he wanted her gone, the whole monster thing gave that away. The room she had picked, though completely at random as the door was open, was a sensitive one. The words she spoke, though they could have been odd for someone of Cain blood, were the truth. Dayna found no use for lies or for hiding things, people learn all so telling them upfront left less room for being hurt later.

A small smile came to her face, not full of malice or evil like her earlier ones, but one of distant amusement. She turned, her attention falling to where rows of books sat within the darkness. She chuckled softly before saying, "Your mannerisms are much like Beast from Beauty and the Beast. And this must be your West Wing. A place so important, it holds your deepest and darkest secrets. It's the place you never want found for it's the place that hides your true weakness." Her voice trailed off a bit thinking of that Disney animated film, her words meaning nothing other than what happened in the movie.
