I just tend to finish my school work fast and have time in my hand to inconspicuously draw. My style stays pretty consistent, so I can draw with pen just fine.
Abstract is good. Not everyone can understand it, after all! When I draw something special to me, I tend to put a LOT of symbolism. That's why I know that the Staff of Healing is in fact, not from the Greek god of Medicine XD
It's so overloaded with symbolism someone who knows symbols will know at glance what I'm saying.
Too bad, others are dumbfounded.

Kesesese, I know lots of random things, especially the Greek Myths, random bits of Quantum Physics and all sort of Science.
