The alarm clock on the bedside table started going on, but the person that it was there for had already been up for hours, or more properly, she hadn't been able to go to bed. Reyna moved over to her bed and turned the ringing device off before returning to her desk once more. The lamp that sat atop was the only thing that lit the large, dark room at that point in time and it was there to illuminate the papers that were scattered about the wooden surface. The red headed woman let out a sigh; it had been another wasted summer. With a depressed mood slowly forming, she turned to look at a small hidden picture on her desk; it was one of happier and more fun times, the faces of old friends showing so.

After a few minutes, there was a soft knock on the door. "Miss," the lightly accented voice came through softly. "Breakfast is ready. Once you are ready, please come down to eat and a car will be readied to take you to school."

Reyna smiled to look at the portly woman in the door, clicking the overhead light on. "Yes, Marielle, I will be right down," she said back as she pushed away from the studies that her parents had left for her. Her parents were out on a work trip, to Bolivia or somewhere like that. This left the head maid, Marielle, in charge of the house. The red head proceeded to slip into a simple black shirt with a white button up top; one of many outfits that her parents had bought her to be used while at school. To them, a nicely dressed woman was a successful woman. She slipped her feet into a pair of black flats after having put on a pair of matching black thigh high stockings that disappeared beneath the knee-length skirt. Lastly, she tied her wild mane into her distinctive pig tails, tied off by a couple of black ribbons.

Once ready, she made her way down the large stair case of the house and towards the kitchen. There was a small breakfast set out there, much like Reyna had finally convinced the kitchen staff to settle on; the girl would rarely eat more than a couple of pieces of toast and a glass of orange juice for breakfast and the only time she could actually get away with it was while her parents were away on work.

It only took the girl a few minutes to eat before the same portly woman was approaching her with her school bag. "Have a wonderful day young miss," she said with her professional smile, though her eyes held the sympathy for the girl that the rest of the staff held as they watched her parents force her to dance their dance. "Thank you, Marielle," she smiled to the woman before taking her bag and getting into the family car.

Reyna sat in the middle back seat of the car, her attention focused on the leather of the front seats as usual. The vehicle was tinted and was an older Cadillac that had gotten some attention and was recognized as the Hayes family car at this point. The girl just sighed as she tried to relax in the back seat of the car. "Only one more year," she said quietly to herself. "What was that, young Miss?" The driver asked, his eyes appearing in the rear view mirror. "Nothing Baxter," she said with a slight sigh as she turned to look on the window. "Nothing."
