He jumped across the space between roofs and Sophie imagined herself running the opposite direction. It wouldn't work though. Well it would, but then she'd be stuck with this ridiculous collar for the rest of forever. There were worse things she could be stuck with forever, she supposed. Chronic hiccups, an itch in places one doesn't need an itch, the white haired wonder...

Sophie sighed and got herself a running jump to cross the space, too. Her legs were shorter than his, and she preferred more running to the start, but she was lighter, too. She didn't have any trouble keeping up, only stopping when he did. She looked past him at the living dead creature hobbling towards them. Would he become like that? His cut was looking worse by the minute; all infected and, threatening to ooze at any moment. She shuddered, feeling worse than she probably should for him.

He disposed of the creature so quickly that Sophie barely had time to bring herself out of her own thoughts before he was on the move again. They both came to the edge of the building together, probably think the exact same things. Mulling options and wishing they were alone. All of the options sucked. Sophie sighed. She could just open up a portal, and she was seriously considering it. Though it wouldn't be to the world he needed, and there was no guarantee that it would be safer than this one, which could potentially be really bad, since Sophie wouldn't be able to fight or run after the exertion.

Sophie glanced around. They could head down the fire escape and cross the street, there didn't seem to be a lot of those dead things around down there. In fact, Sophie hadn't spotted one yet. Or they could...... Well, she had nothing. "So down we go then?" she asked quietly. She glanced over at him with a grimace. "Seriously, what's your plan with that?" she asked, referring to the cut. "I mean, you know you're going to turn into one of those things right?"

She was keeping her voice low as to not draw attention. "We can't exactly wander around here looking for a cure. Do your, kidnapping bosses, have a cure? I'm just saying, if you're going out anyway, you might as well take this collar off, you know, just in case." She wasn't trying to be insensitive to his situation, but he wasn't exactly being sensitive to hers. Besides, she was only looking at things logically, and out for herself, of course.
